From a single pizza counter to a Colorado institution — here's the story of how Dions grew one slice at a time.

1978

The First Slice

Dions opened its very first location in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with just a handful of tables, a hand-rolled dough recipe, and one big dream: to make the best pizza in the Southwest. Within weeks, lines stretched out the door.

1985

Colorado Calling

Growing demand led Dions to expand north. Our first Colorado Springs location opened, instantly becoming a neighborhood staple. The Colorado community embraced us as one of their own, and we never looked back.

1995

The Ranch Dressing Revolution

We introduced our now-legendary house-made ranch dressing, which quickly became as famous as the pizza itself. Customers started requesting it by name, and it became the defining flavor of the Dions experience.

2005

Community Champion

Dions launched its formal community giving program, partnering with schools, sports leagues, and nonprofits across Colorado. Over the next decade, we contributed over $5 million in donations and fundraising support to local communities.
